Product Description
The Torrent 30 is a clean, waterproof, easy-care all-rounder with no unnecessary bells and whistles. Its easy handling and purist features make it ideal for climbing, shopping, or a day trip in any weather.
The roll-top closure protects against moisture and provides quick access to the main compartment. Inside there is a mesh zipper pocket and Velcros for attaching a Case Padded Slim laptop or tablet case. Practical daisy chains on the front and side offer attachment options. The splash-proof front pocket with zipper and key holder and two stretch outer pockets provide additional storage space.
The comfort carrying system with contact padded back, anatomically shaped shoulder straps, and an adjustable chest strap ensure a comfortable fit. The padded, removable hip belt ensures optimum load transfer. The webbing on the bottom of the shoulder straps provides additional support.
The reflective logo print and the option of attaching a bike light ensure good visibility in urban traffic. Taped seams and the PFC-free, bluesign® approved outer material with a water column of 10,000 mm protect against moisture and dirt.

The EXPED backpack line includes both waterproof and weatherproof models. Waterproof means these backpacks keep water out unless submerged in water. Weatherproof means that the fabric and seams are completely waterproof, but zippers and hydration ports are water resistant and not 100% waterproof.
All other backpacks in the EXPED line have coated fabrics to prevent water penetration. These backpacks do not have taped seams. Typically, other features such as durability or weight reduction are the focus of these products and are designed to be used with our waterproof drybags to keep the contents dry.
