Icefall backpack recall
If you've purchased an Icefall since December 2022, it may have a production defect. It has been found that the backpacks from the production series with LOT number 2270 have a webbing discoloration issue.
We have found out that in humid environments (rain or snow) or during “sweaty” activities, there is a possibility of the burgundy color of the webbing of the bag is discolouring and transferring to the fabric. This can cause “pinkish” undesirable marks on the white backpack fabric or the clothing.
These are exclusively backpacks with LOT number 2270 sold as of December 2022. You can find the LOT number under the left shoulder strap.
Together with our supplier we are working on a solution to fix the problem as soon as possible. All three backpack sizes (30L | 40L | 50L) are affected.
If you have purchased an Icefall backpack with LOT number 2270, please contact your retailer. You can either return your backpack and get a refund – or continue to use it until we can find a solution to the problem and replace your backpack directly. You do this at your own risk. We are not responsible for any discoloration on your clothing.
